Gurov Vladimir

Was born on October, 10, 1903 in Kamyshin. Gurov - the master of a portrait genre and picturesque landscapes of Volga. In the creativity repeatedly came back to genre work "Gorky on the Volga ". In conditional traditional character of painting the tonality of his works goes from the best sources of the Saratov school of the painting which has steadily existed till 30th years of the last century. It bright representatives were the most talented artists - M.V.Kuznetsov, P.S.Utkin, A.I.Savinov, A.I.Kravchenko, E.V.Egorov, V.M.Justitsky, etc. To Lyrics of this voice Gurov has remained is true up to the end of the days.
Gurov is a pupil P.S.Utkin, A.I.Savinov. Has ended Art Institute in 1922.
With 1929 for 1930 - the teacher of art in art - practical technical school of Saratov. With 1932 on 1939 studied and has ended the Academy of arts, Leningrad. With 1938 on 1939 taught in Leningrad in studio "Lenfilm" (it is organized since 1928). Gurov has returned to Saratov where taught the fine arts in Art school (1939 on 1989).
Has died on October, 18, 1989.
Gurov was a teacher of many known artists of Saratov. His works are in the Saratov art museum, in a museum of Kamyshin, in private collections of Russia, France, USA, Germany, Spain and Belgium.
