Was born on March, 6, 1923 in village Dobrinka of the Voronezh area. Graduated the Saratov art school in 1953. The participant of regional, republican, zone exhibitions. The painter. A member of the Union of artists of Russia.
The lyrics of Panov's paintings is simple and natural. He writes that well knows and deeply likes.

A.D.Panov - one of the most characteristic artists of the Saratov landscape tradition. From the teachers G.J.Melnikov and A.V.Skvortsov he has apprehended P.S.Utkin's manner. Much he has gathered and from senior contemporary I.N.Sheglov. Due to this he has managed in the painting to embody the best tendencies of the Saratov art school.
